    JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for supporting the strategic and business planning processes through research, analysis, and maintenance of data and information for EHC and the WHSC. Prepares reports and coordinates planning efforts for new programs and services. Assumes a lead role in project meeting facilitation and presentation. Performs other related duties as required.

    Creates financial models and develops projections with multiple scenarios.

    Develops project work plans, including timelines and assigning responsibilities. Identifies potential risk areas and supports problem resolution process. Identifies objectives, performance metrics, resource requirements and results. Prepares drafts of narratives, research materials, tables, analyses, and other materials for review and inclusion in written planning documents. Periodically updates planning documents. Monitors and analyzes internal and external environments and identifies trends and opportunities. Completes research and benchmarking studies. Assists Manager(s) with relationships with key programs, including ongoing planning cycle process. Researches and coordinates the preparation of Certificate of Need (CON) applications. Assists in or manages the development and maintenance of planning tools. Reports violations of corporate compliance to supervisor or designee as indicated; assists other departments/employees with EHC compliance issues as may be appropriate. May oversee or supervise the work of lower level associates.

    Works with manager to formulate plan for professional development. Attends educational in-services as appropriate. Participates in professional activities and organizations to maintain knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments.

    Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, interprets large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data; creates clear reports utilizing analysis. Accurately maintains documentation (work papers) according to departmental policies and procedures. Utilizes computer applications such as spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, etc., to analyze data, create reports and develop presentations. Maintains confidentiality of Clinic's employee records, medical records, financial reports and other information deemed confidential or competitive.

    Participates in office and committee meetings; provides input to discussions and volunteers for tasks. Facilitates information gathering meetings and other meetings with Clinic and Hospital personnel and physicians, as appropriate. Coordinates project meeting schedule, including communication with team members, preparation of agendas, documenting next steps, arranging meeting location, etc. Gives oral presentations of completed projects to Clinic Section Heads, Clinic Section Business Managers, and Hospital and WHSC personnel.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree required (MHA, MHSA, MBA, MPH). Two years healthcare experience preferred, preferably one year in a strategic planning, business development, market research, healthcare consulting or a related area.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (MediumMax 25lbs): up to 25 lbs, 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 25 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.

    ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS: Factors affecting environment conditions may vary depending on the assigned work area and tasks. Environmental exposures include, but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure Bio-hazardous waste Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock , Floor Surfaces, Hot/Cold Temperatures, Indoor/Outdoor conditions, Latex, Lighting, Patient care/handling injuries, Radiation , Shift work, Travel may be required. Use of personal protective equipment, including respirators, environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
