Assists in planning and implementing systems and report related projects. Supports business and system re-engineering and architecture development to define future data needs. Ensures that the uses of data through reports and queries are accurate. Collects information to assist in the development of technology plans and strategies. Creates, manages and maintains database records. May create reports and analyze data for contract review and negotiations. Serves as an organizational consultant on matters relating to databases by providing expertise to assist users in meeting their needs. Pulls data and produces reports related to quality, safety, and value on both a recurring and ad hoc basis, to meet needs of a diverse set of customers. Reviews reports produced and ensure the accuracy of the data contained. Pulls data from multiple source systems to meet reporting needs. Combine data into well arranged and formatted reports which are easy for users to understand and which focus attention on key information while providing necessary explanations. Interacts with customers to clarify needs and identify expectations including deadlines. Some individuals in this position may be responsible for Month-End System Maintenance to include preparing financial statements, reconciliation and updating database, quarterly review of financial results and audits on accounts receivables, and the development, training and maintenance of the annual budget. Performs other duties as assigned.
