Description

As a Starbucks barista, you willl create the Starbucks Experience for our customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted products.

You will be in an energetic store environment where you will have the ability to master your food & beverage craft, work alongside friends and meet new people every day.

A cup of coffee and smile can go a long way, and we believe our baristas have the power to be the best moment in each customers day.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and specialty beverages.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils and equipment.
  • Cleaning service and seating areas. Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers.
  • Servicing customers and taking orders.
  • Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies. Receiving and processing customer payments. 


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Experience in food service, hospitality or customer service preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in customer service, critical thinking, problem solving and written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to make sound judgments while quickly processing information.
  • Proficient computer and web-based software skills including the ability to adapt to regular changes in software programs and processes.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and communicate in English.
  • Ability to follow and give oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate with patients, patient family members, hospital personnel and co-workers.
