Job Description:

 

The Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for managing and executing multiple marketing projects, from inception to completion.

  • This senior-level role requires a focus on process improvement, utilizing project management methodologies to ensure the timely delivery of projects, maintain budget adherence, and optimize workflows.
  • The Project Manager will collaborate closely with the marketing team, external vendors, and key stakeholders to support the development and execution of various marketing initiatives, including national advertising campaigns, digital content creation, and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Project Planning and Management:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with leadership and key stakeholders. 
  • Develop full-scale project plans and manage timelines to ensure all projects are completed within scope, on time, and on budget. 
  • Implement and maintain efficient systems for tracking project progress and deliverables.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations and status updates to all team members and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure resource allocation is in line with project goals.
  • Provide support in budget development and assist with estimating required resources for each project.

2) Project Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure consistent and timely project completion.
  • Create and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot project issues, identify potential risks, and develop contingency plans.
  • Track changes in project scope and maintain clear documentation regarding changes.

3) Stakeholder Management: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring project objectives are met. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove any barriers that could hinder project success.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to assess successes, challenges, and lessons learned, providing insights for future projects.

4) Team Facilitator: 

  • Lead project kickoff meetings, ensuring clear understanding of roles, deadlines, and expectations among all team members.
  • Work with internal Marketing team members to assign project tasks and ensure completion within the established timelines.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

1) Experience: 

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in marketing project management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing marketing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and process improvements. 
  • Experience in managing project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation. 
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and optimize project workflows using PMP and Six Sigma methodologies.

2) Skills: 

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency in project management tools (preferably Wrike or One Plan).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage project risks and deliver improvements.

3) Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • PMP certification. 
  • Experience with marketing automation tools or platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
  • Experience in digital marketing, media buying, or content development.
