Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, implement, and manage training programs for new hires and existing staff. 
  • Conduct skills assessments, audits, and refresher training to identify areas for training improvement, and promote continuous improvement.
  • Manage training curriculum, training schedules, delivery methods, and performance.
  • Collaborate with leaders inside and outside the department to develop and integrate training needs and performance gaps.
  • Work cooperatively with other team members to maintain a positive and purposeful work environment.
  • Respond to requests for professional information or advice, referring to complex matters to leadership.
  • Mentor staff as appropriate.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Training Manager, or Quality Assurance Specialist.
  • Licensure: None.
  • Certification: None.
  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities (required): Excellent communication, presentation, and people skills.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs for diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5 or more years of experience as a Training Manager or experience teaching quality assurance preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Licensure: None.
