Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Analytics & Insights to lead the development and execution of enterprise analytics strategies that inform marketing effectiveness, customer engagement, and business growth at Emory Healthcare.

 

This role manages a team of analysts supporting multiple healthcare service lines and marketing performance functions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, consistent insights across the organization.

 

The Senior Manager will drive strategic reporting and advanced analytics across marketing and digital platforms, partnering with CRM, content, strategy, and executive leadership to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of analysts supporting multiple service lines and marketing functions, fostering accountability, skill development, and high performance
    • Encourage a culture of curiosity, innovation, and continuous learning through adoption of new methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Analytics Strategy & Operations:
    • Oversee workload prioritization and project execution to ensure timely and impactful analytics deliverables for stakeholders across the enterprise
    • Establish standards and frameworks for analysis, data governance, and reporting consistency across analyst roles and business units
  • Data Analysis & Insights Development:
    • Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of marketing, patient, and customer data to support strategic decision-making
    • Oversee methodologies to analyze consumer journeys, engagement funnels, and operational efficiency
  • Reporting & Visualization:
    • Develop executive-level dashboards, ROI/ROAS analyses, and data-driven presentations that inform resource planning and campaign performance
    • Present complex data findings in a clear, compelling manner through effective storytelling and data visualization
  • Analytics Infrastructure & Integration:
    • Guide analytics infrastructure efforts across performance platforms, including Salesforce CRM, web analytics, social media, and content platforms
    • Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure data integration, accuracy, and scalability
  • Business Partnership & Strategic Alignment:
    • Partner with business stakeholders to define problems and deliver data-driven recommendations that drive consumer engagement and conversion
    • Integrate insights across business units, including Strategic Planning and Finance, to ensure alignment with enterprise goals and metrics
  • Innovation & Advanced Analytics:
    • Identify and execute innovative analytics approaches to uncover growth opportunities and elevate marketing strategy and performance
  • Vendor & Data Management:
    • Manage data vendors, tools, and processes to ensure data quality, compliance, and effective harmonization across platforms
    • Additional Duties as Assigned
    • Travel: Occasional Travel to Emory Healthcare Locations
    • Work Type: Hybrid employee - splits time between working remotely and working in the office

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Education - Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, data science, business, economics, marketing, or related field. Degree not required
  • Experience - Minimum of 7 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data-focused roles, including at least 3 years of people management experience

Knowledge, skills, and abilities (required):

  • Strong expertise in data analysis, forecasting, and insight generation
  • Proven ability to translate complex quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights
  • Experience developing executive-level reporting, dashboards, and performance analyses
  • Strong storytelling and data visualization skills 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and project management
  • Experience with data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Education - Master's degree in analytics, data science, business, economics, marketing, or related field
  • Experience - Experience within healthcare or other highly regulated industries

Knowledge, skills, and ability requirements (preferred):

  • Proficiency with analytics and BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, and similar tools
  • Experience in customer journey analytics, segmentation, and forecast modeling
  • Financial modeling capabilities and marketing ROI tracking experience 
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
  • Additional certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, CSPO, or similar credentials
