Description

  • The Mental Health Clinician supports EmWELLs mission to foster a culture of well-being by providing systemic mental health support.
  • This role focuses on group debriefs, mental health training, and support during periods of acute stress or crisis.
  • It evaluates and optimizes existing mental health offerings and group support structures to enhance operational efficiency and staff resilience without providing one-on-one consultations.
  • Mental Health Strategy
    • Develop systemic strategies to strengthen mental health support structures within the organization
    • Partner with leaders and teams across the system to embed mental health resources into well-being initiatives and workplace operations
  • Group Facilitation - Facilitate group debriefs to support teams during acute stress or crisis situations
  • Training and Education - Deliver mental health training to Emory Healthcare staff, equipping them with strategies to support resilience and well-being
  • Program Evaluation
    • Evaluate existing mental health offerings and recommend optimizations for better alignment to meet staff needs Feedback and Improvement
    • Collect and analyze feedback to continuously refine mental health programs and resources
  • Crisis Support - Provide immediate, systemic-level guidance and support during organizational crises to mitigate burnout and enhance staff recovery

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters degree in counseling, Social Work, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in mental health support, including experience in group facilitation, training, and crisis response within a healthcare or organizational setting

PREFERRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent licensure (e.g., LCSW) preferred
  • Employee may work independently under the general direction of their leader, exercising professional judgment to assess and address organizational needs
  • May require travel to work at other sites when needed
