The facilities management team consists of several specialized groups to meet the needs of Emory Healthcare Facilities. We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to support and oversee equipment, patient care, and sustainability. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains the safe operation and maintenance of building facilities.
• Performs preventive maintenance activities, responding to customer complaints, and repairing equipment.
• Repairs and adjusts doors, windows, closures, panic devices and locks.
• Patches holes, installs escutcheons, repairs ceiling and floor tile as needed to maintain building appearance.
• Makes minor masonry and wood repairs. Installs pictures, coat hooks, other wall hung furnishings, and equipment as requested.
• Enters data into computer systems and or mobile devices.
• Performs related duties as required.
  
  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required.
• May require a valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Some positions within this classification may require the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop, and twist.
