- The Manager, Business Development and Relationships is responsible for advancing Emory Healthcare's strategic growth by cultivating and managing corporate partnerships and external business relationships
- This role identifies new partnership opportunities, develops and implements programs aligned with organizational priorities, and serves as a key liaison with employers, insurers, government entities, and benefit consultants
- The Manager supports contract development, onboarding, marketing efforts, and performance tracking, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, accessible programs that meet market demands and enhance EHC's brand and reach
- Partnership Development and Relationship Management
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with employers, payers, brokers, government agencies, benefit consulting firms, and other external stakeholders
- Onboards new corporate partners, ensuring successful implementation and integration of programs
- Serves as the primary liaison for external partners, offering responsive communication and long-term relationship management
- Strategic Planning and Program Implementation
- Identifies, evaluates, and initiates new partnership opportunities aligned with organizational goals
- Collaborates with departmental and EHC leadership to contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans
- Partners with clinical and operational teams to develop and implement contracts that support high-quality healthcare offerings tailored for corporate clients
- Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Develops and maintains dashboards and tracking systems to monitor partnership performance and program volume
- Provides regular updates, analysis, and outcome reports to leadership and key stakeholders to inform decision-making
- Supports the fulfillment of RFPs by gathering and presenting relevant program information, capabilities, and value propositions
- Marketing, Communications, and Brand Visibility
- Develops and delivers presentations to articulate the value and capabilities of Emory Healthcare and the Population Health Collaborative to external partners
- Collaborates on the creation of promotional, educational, and marketing materials to support program growth and visibility
- Represents EHC at employer, insurance, and benefits conferences, speaking on offerings and partnership success stories
- Market Research and Process Optimization
- Conducts ongoing market research to monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to streamline partner-related processes and remove access barriers to EHC programs
- Recommends improvements to business development strategies based on data insights and market intelligence
- Travel: Some travel to operating units may be required
- Work Type: Hybrid employee - splits time working remotely, in the office, and meeting clients and/or potential clients at their place of business
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration or related field
- At least 5 years minimum experience in corporate business development, relationship management, sales, or related role
Knowledge, skills, and abilities (required):
- Proven success in establishing strategic partnerships
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and critical thinking skills and an understanding of healthcare trends, regulations, and market dynamics
- Excellent communication, presentation, and people skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business administration or healthcare administration
