Description

The Manager of Supply Chain Transformation serves as a strategic partner to Supply Chain leadership, driving initiatives that modernize, optimize, and align supply chain operations with organizational goals.

 

This role manages transformation-related communications, workforce development programs, and high-impact coordination activities such as supplier summits, innovation sessions, and leadership engagements.

 

In addition, the Manager provides high-level organizational support to senior leadership by tracking priorities, identifying conflicts, and ensuring follow-through on critical objectives. This position requires exceptional organizational acumen, the ability to influence without direct authority, and comfort working across multiple stakeholder groups, including executive leaders, clinical and operational teams, suppliers, and industry partners.

 

Strategic Communications:

  • Develop and execute communication plans to support supply chain transformation initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging across internal and external audiences.
  • Prepare presentations, talking points, newsletters, and key updates for leadership, department staff, and stakeholders
  • Manage the content and execution of townhalls, leadership updates, and transformation project briefings
  • Partner with Marketing/Communications to align messaging with organizational brand standards.

Event & Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Organize and execute major events such as Supply Chain Summits, Core Supplier Meetings, Innovation Sessions, and Thought Leadership engagements.
  • Coordinate logistics, agendas, and follow-up actions for high-profile meetings with suppliers, partners, and internal leadership.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling, preparation, and stakeholder engagement for transformation-related events. 

Leadership Support & Prioritization:

  • Partner directly with Supply Chain leadership to track key priorities, identify scheduling or resource conflicts, and recommend solutions
  • Maintain a leadership dashboard of ongoing projects, milestones, and deadlines
  • Proactively flag risks, roadblocks, and emerging opportunities requiring leadership attention
  • Support the design and rollout of workforce development initiatives to enhance skills, knowledge, and engagement across the supply chain team
  • In partnership with HR, coordinate training programs, professional development sessions, and leadership readiness initiatives to track workforce capability progress and succession planning

Transformation Program Support:

  • Assist in tracking deliverables, metrics, and timelines for major transformation initiatives
  • Support process improvement projects and change management activities
  • Conduct research and benchmarking to inform innovation and transformation strategies

Travel: Less than 10% of the time may be required

Work Type: Hybrid employee - splits time between working remotely and working in the office

 

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • Experience - 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, project management, communications, or transformation roles, preferably in healthcare or other complex, regulated industries

Knowledge, skills, and abilities (required):

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including experience preparing executive-level presentations and communications
  • Experience coordinating large-scale meetings, conferences, or events with senior-level stakeholders
  • High emotional intelligence, diplomacy, and ability to influence without direct authority
  • Strong organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to track priorities and anticipate leadership needs

Preferred Qualifications Education:

  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • Experience - 7 years minimum experience with at least 5 years in a management position
  • Knowledge, skills, and ability requirements (preferred): Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Proficiency in project management tools Familiarity with data visualization platforms
