Description

Overview:

  • The EHC Center for Care Delivery and Innovation (CCDI) exists to transform enterprise design and deployment of nursing systems of care through professional practice excellence, digital integration and predictive modeling, professional development, and nursing science to advance the care of patients.
  • Relational leadership, professional governance, inclusivity, and innovation at the point of care are core values that powers the development of nursing care delivery for the future.
  • The Corporate Director for Care Delivery and Innovation is a strategic leader within the CCDI responsible for driving advancements in care delivery models, fostering innovation, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals through effective implementation and change management.
  • This position requires a visionary leader who can integrate clinical expertise, operational efficiency, and innovative solutions to enhance patient outcomes and organizational performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Leadership:

  • 1. Oversee the process for development of the EHC Nursing Strategic Plan
  • 2. Develop and implement innovative care delivery strategies that align with the organization's mission and vision.
  • 3. Lead cross-functional teams to identify and execute initiatives that improve patient care and operational efficiency.
  • 4. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic planning. Innovation and Program

Development:

  • 1. Design and oversee programs that leverage technology, data analytics, and evidence-based practices to improve care delivery in Concert with Emory Digital and the Department of Finance.
  • 2. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to pilot and scale innovative solutions.
  • 3. Evaluate the impact of new initiatives and adjust strategies to optimize outcomes.

Implementation and Change Management:

  • 1. Oversee the Program Director for Implementation and Change Management
  • 2. Works through and supports professional governance as part of innovation
  • 3. Ensures implementation efforts are aligned with OU priorities and capabilities
  • 4. Advocate for innovation and change management across the organization.

Operational Excellence:

  • 1. Ensure care delivery models are cost-effective, scalable, and sustainable.
  • 2. Partner with stakeholders to streamline workflows and reduce barriers to care.
  • 3. Establish metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • 1. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clinicians, executives, and community partners.
  • 2. Communicate progress and outcomes to leadership and other key stakeholders.

Minimum Required Qualifications Education:

  • Masters degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of leadership experience in healthcare delivery, innovation, or related areas.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful care delivery models and driving organizational change.
  • Licensure: Current active RN license in state of Georgia

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (required):

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Expertise in project management and change management. 
  • Familiarity with healthcare technology and data analytics tools. ators, environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
