Description

  • The Quality Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence within the Office of Quality by managing day-to-day processes, overseeing key projects, and supporting financial and administrative functions
  • This role ensures that quality initiatives are effectively resourced, executed, and monitored through strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • The manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, support change management, and improve service delivery, ultimately contributing to the achievement of strategic quality goals
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Manages daily operational processes and ensures smooth execution of quality initiatives by maintaining trackers, dashboards, and workflow documentation
  • Financial Management:
    • Oversees budget preparation, expense tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting to support transparency and informed decision-making
  • Project Coordination:
    • Leads and supports short- and long-term projects by managing timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation in collaboration with internal stakeholders
    • Change Management Support Drives change initiatives by supporting adoption of new processes and tools, and by helping teams align with evolving operational goals
  • Training and Onboarding Support:
    • Coordinates onboarding for new employees and provides operational support for training and content development initiatives

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration or related field
  • Experience:
    • 5 years minimum experience
  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities (required):
    • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
    • Demonstrated experience with budgeting cost projections, and financial reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

Education - Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration or related field

 

Experience -

  • 10 years minimum experience with at least 5 years in a management position Certification 
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), Project Management Professional (PMI)
  • Knowledge, skills, and ability requirements (preferred): 
    • Experience in hospital-based quality operations
    • Quality or project management certifications 
    • Experience with project management systems 
    • Lean Six Sigma
    • Wrike, Basecamp, Asana
