Description

The Emory Digital User Experience team is seeking a Data Analyst II to assist in the execution of user experience initiatives. Reporting to the Manager of User Experience, the Data Analyst will play a vital role in leveraging data and analytics to evaluate the usability of digital tools and workflows across the healthcare system. The Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting user-centric data related to usability and user behavior of digital technologies. The analyst will partner with a team of user engagement and design specialists to leverage a holistic, mixed-methods approach for measuring and optimizing how users experience various digital technologies. The ideal candidate enjoys being hands-on with data and leveraging it to help drive decision making that will ultimately inform the design, deployment, and support of digital solutions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to collect, process, stage, and analyze user-centric data such as Voice of the User campaigns, product utilization, user productivity, and workflow efficiency logs
  • Develop and maintain insightful reports and dashboards (Excel, PPT, PowerBI) that track and visualize user behavior, adoption patterns, and workflow impacts of digital solutions
  • Voice of the Customer Program Administration: Monitor, triage, and respond to Voice of the User feedback by identifying key issues, escalating to appropriate support teams for resolution and to enhance overall user satisfaction and experience
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work with healthcare professionals, informaticians, product managers, and UX/UI specialists to translate data into insights that guide decision making across design, build, training, and support. Program
  • Development & Process Improvement: Continuously improve the UX program through focused subject matter research, teach backs, and custom additions to content library
  • Compliance and Program Development: Data Maintenance and Quality Assurance Data Documentation: Create and maintain analytics documentation including data definitions and report logic to enable consistent knowledge sharing across teams

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, UX Design, Business Analytics or related field Experience
  • 3 years minimum of digital healthcare experience Knowledge, skills, and abilities (required): Data Collection/Analysis (SQL, Excel) Data Visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, PPT, etc) Storytelling with Data experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Healthcare Informatics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, UX Design, Business Analytics or related field Experience
  • 5 years of digital healthcare experience Knowledge, skills, and ability requirements (preferred)
  • UX/UI Design and Research Methods Web Analytics or Product Analytics Methods Python/R for Data Analysis
