Description

  • The Clinically Focused Program Manager oversees clinical program operations, working closely with physicians, nurses, and care teams to improve patient outcomes, quality of care, and patient experience
  • This role ensures that clinical programs meet regulatory requirements, align with evidence-based practices, and support institutional goals for safety, quality, and performance
  • Program Leadership and Operations
    • Lead clinical program development and daily operations in alignment with institutional standards and evidence-based practices
    • Oversee the program's budget, capital equipment, operations, and personnel resources. Monitor expenditures and ensure alignment with business plans and fiscal constraints
    • Drive continuous improvement and quality initiatives; analyze program strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities to guide strategic planning
    • Plan and facilitate effective meetings, collect and analyze data, and generate reports to demonstrate program impact and inform decision-making
  • Clinical Collaboration and Care Delivery
    • Collaborate with medical directors, nursing leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize workflows and improve patient care delivery
    • Manage outreach and public relations efforts, develop physician liaison strategies, and coordinate patient education, outreach, and care navigation
  • Staff Management and Development
    • Hire, train, and manage staff; provide ongoing performance feedback, ensure competency, and address HR-related matters including discipline and development
  • Quality, Metrics, and Compliance
    • Develop and implement clinical metrics, quality measures, and outcome reporting tools to track program effectiveness and inform improvement strategies
    • Lead regulatory readiness, accreditation, and compliance efforts, ensuring the program meets institutional and external requirements
  • Professional Engagement
    • Engage in professional development and stay informed of industry trends, practices, and innovations relevant to the program area

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, public health, or a related field required; alternatively, 3-5 years of clinical experience with licensure/certification in a recognized specialty area (e.g., Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Radiologic Technologist, Respiratory Therapist)
  • 3-5 years in clinical program management or healthcare operations
  • Strong understanding of healthcare quality, safety, and regulatory standards

Preferred Education: Master's degree
