Description

Overview: 

  • The Manager for Supply Chain Data Integrity & Systems Applications reports to the Director, Supply Chain Integrity & Systems and plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the data and technology systems that support healthcare supply chain operations, including but not limited to supply chain management system (SCM), inventory management system, GHX, and ERP platforms.
  • This position ensures the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of supply chain data while driving initiatives to enhance system functionality and performance.
  • The role focuses on delivering data-driven insights, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and implementing technology solutions to streamline processes across the organization.
  • This role ensures alignment of all supply chain systems and processes with best practices, while maintaining data integrity and reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    • System Application Management:
      • Manage daily operations and maintenance of supply chain systems and applications, including ERP, inventory management, and procurement tools.
      • Supervise Data Analysts who provide transactional and system support.
      • Coordinate with third-party organizations such as GPOs, GHX, consultants, and prime vendors to extract and provide ERP information.
      • Support critical supply chain events (e.g., shortages, national events, emergencies).
    • System Improvement & Technology Integration:
      • Ensure seamless integration of supply chain systems with EHR/EMR/ERP systems.
      • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and enhancements for efficiency.
      • Lead and manage assigned supply chain system projects from initiation through completion.
    • Data Integrity & Governance:
      • Maintain and validate master data (vendor, item, contract) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
      •  
      • Collaborate with procurement, contracting, and value analysis teams to align master data strategies.
      • Ensure integration of supply chain systems with finance, procurement, accounts payable, recall management, and revenue cycle.
      • Develop audit processes and proactively resolve discrepancies.
      • Ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FDA).
      • Leverage AI, ERP integration, and predictive analytics to enhance master data management.
    • Performance Analytics & Reporting:
      • Design and manage dashboards and reports to monitor performance.
      • Provide actionable insights using advanced data analytics tools.
      • Support strategic initiatives with in-depth analysis of supply chain metrics.
    • Training & Support:
      • Provide system training and user support to supply chain personnel.
      • Promote user adoption of technologies and ensure system best practices.

Travel: Less than 10% of the time may be required.

 

Work Type: On-site employee - works in the office or at a physical workplace.


Minimum Qualifications: Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years, including 2+ years in a management role.
  • Certification: Six Sigma Certificate, Certified Professional of Supply Management, SAS Certified Base Programmer.

Skills:

Experience integrating EHR (Epic, Cerner) and ERP (SAP, Workday, Oracle).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Education:

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

  • 10 years minimum, including at least 5 years in a management role. 
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare supply chain systems and integration best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
