Description

Overview: 

 

The Program Manager, Workforce Compliance plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our compliance-based operations. This position focuses on strategic integration and process streamlining, working closely with Workforce Compliance Leadership to ensure that all processes are optimized and compliant with all applicable federal, state and regulatory standards and to align integration efforts with overall business goals.

Builds relationships with internal customers and client groups and liaises with Human Resources partners to deliver consistent and high-quality customer service.

Serves as HR Compliance subject matter expert, advising HR partners and leadership on federal, state, and local employment laws, policy interpretation, and risk-mitigation best practices. Position is characterized by the ability to prioritize and organize multiple assignments and identify solutions to challenges as they occur in a dynamic environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local HR and healthcare regulations, as well as industry standards, to ensure the organization meets all compliance obligations across its human capital functions.
  • Track and evaluate the progress of integration projects and deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Design and execute comprehensive integration plans to optimize business processes and audit procedures.
  • Assess and refine existing workflows, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and documentation to support compliance processes and audit procedures.
  • Deliver training and guidance to team members on newly implemented processes and systems, ensuring smooth adoption.
  • Oversee credentialing practices, verifying that all required licenses, certifications, and registrations remain current and meet regulatory standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and resolve integration challenges, fostering seamless collaboration.
  • Lead, coordinate, and execute special projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in Human Resources, HR Compliance, Quality Improvement, or a related field.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a healthcare facility or closely related environment.

Minimum Skills:

  • Knowledge of Human Resources policies, regulations, and administrative procedures.
  • Proven experience in process integration, compliance, and strategy.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to define objectives, establish priorities, and manage multiple assignments within defined procedures and deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Human Resources through workshops, seminars, or course work.
  • SPHR, PHR or Certified Joint Commission Professional (CJCP) certification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and prior experience in compliance and/or quality improvement within healthcare.
