Description

In the wake of industry-wide transformation post-pandemic, we are reimagining how we grow, retain, and develop our workforce.  As part of this work, we are building our Talent Management foundation and processes to provide an effective structure and consistent approach for accelerating internal talent mobility.  The Talent Management Lead role is part of Emory Healthcares System Talent team and directly enables the organization¿s commitment to be the best place to grow by building and deploying processes and programs for identifying and developing talent. The role reports to the Corporate Director, Talent Management and will be responsible for system-wide talent programs and supporting the various business leaders and HR business partners in their talent agendas.

 

Job Duties:

 

Talent Management:

  • Support the implementation and execution of core talent processes, including talent assessments, talent reviews, succession planning, talent planning, executive coaching and mentoring
  • Develop and deliver change management, training development and facilitation, and communications to drive adoption
  • Serve as the process expert and point of contact for stakeholders during execution
  • Partner with HR Technology and other HR teams as needed to sustain and evolve talent processes 
  • Gather and consolidate data for critical Talent Review and Succession Planning meetings with Business Stakeholders
  • Support management of key deadlines, processes and execution

Workforce Development:

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with high schools, colleges, and community organizations to support talent pipeline initiatives.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and oversight of student internship and rotational programs, ensuring consistent, high-quality experience across the organization.
  • Collaborate on the design and facilitation of focus groups and listening sessions to assess workforce development needs and inform program improvements.
  • Drive the implementation of workforce development strategies and programs aligned with organizational priorities, equity goals, and future talent needs.

Talent Analytics & Reporting:

  • Partner across HR Partners, HR Operations, Compensation and the business for foundational data cleanup, building out processes for MSS that lead to cleaner data, and driving reporting that impacts long-term data analytics and visualizations for Talent Management
  • Build meaningful system reporting for Talent systems aligned with other key data points (movement, promotions, demographics, performance, etc.)

Internal Talent Development and Career Mobility:

  • Serve as an internal faculty member for Talent Development and Career Mobility topics
  • Deliver content and facilitate sessions - Train Learning team facilitators

Talent Consultant:

  • Acts as talent consultant to HRBPs and Business Leaders
  • Facilitate team effectiveness sessions, listening sessions and culture interventions
  • Lead train the trainer sessions for HR partners to strengthen execution of tools such as New Leader Acceleration


Minimum Qualifications:

 

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or related field;

Experience:

  • 5 years 

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:

  • Strong experience partnering with or operating as an HRBP;
  • Ability to consult effectively
  • Strong project management skills; organized, detail-oriented, and execution focused. 
  • Proficiency in Excel and comfort with data analytics and visualization.
  • Specialist-level depth in talent management;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Ability to effectively present talent analytics and qualitative insights concisely to leadership
  • Innovative thinking and proven ability to research innovative talent practices and tools to continuously enrich Emory Healthcare talent management practices
  • Tolerance for ambiguity balanced with the ability to organize and deploy practical solutions 
  • Strong relationship builder with a customer centric mindset
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Education

  • Masters degree or MBA preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

  • Experience working with leaders in the full-cycle Talent Management process
  • Talent Selection, Talent Identification, Coaching and Development preferred
