The Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and partner to senior leadership within assigned business units at Emory Healthcare. This role is responsible for aligning and leading HR strategies with business objectives, driving organizational effectiveness, and fostering a positive employee experience.
As a HR Business Partner leader, you are responsible for continually supporting the transformation of the business to win in the marketplace through our people, culture, processes, and systems. This is accomplished by focusing on talent, leadership capabilities, engagement, and effective change management. Attuned to the human aspects of the role, it is critical that you are a role model leader, talent development champion and the owner of culture transformation within the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
Service Delivery Strategy: Responsible for setting people strategies that build the next generation of leaders and ensure Emory has the right capabilities and culture needed to deliver the strategic agenda.
Service Metrics: Educate the business on people trends and impact to broader strategy work. Use data and metrics to drive decisions and build recommendations for future plans and actions. Demonstrates excellent technical and analytical skills with the ability to utilize data and provide strategic insights using PeopleSoft, Power BI, and MS Teams.
Collaboration and Support: Provides a point of escalation for complex inquiries, partnering with client groups and Human Resources Centers of Excellence to align their strategies, cultures, processes and organization structures with the needs of the institution by providing a full range of organization effectiveness and consultation services.
Talent Development & Deployment: Identify strategies to influence the talent development plans and programs. Establish a roadmap for talent development to build capabilities across levels. Leverage and adapt talent and learning solutions to optimize core and critical talent. Drive robust succession plans for critical roles throughout the organization to create a diverse pipeline and enable the strategic development of talent.
Change Management: Leads change management initiatives related to HR service delivery improvements, ensuring a smooth transition for employees and HR staff.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and optimize HR service delivery processes, systems, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. At least six (6) years of HR Business Partner or similar role, with strong preference for previous leadership experience. SPHR or PHR preferred.
