Description

The Director of Performance Marketing will be responsible for leading and optimizing the execution of performance marketing campaigns across SEO, SEM, Social Media, and Email Marketing.

 

This role will ensure that Emory Healthcare's digital marketing strategies are efficiently implemented and performance-driven, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution across all channels.

 

The Director will oversee a team of managers, driving results through continuous optimization and data-driven decisions.

 

This position requires a strategic leader with a strong focus on campaign performance, integration, and cross-channel alignment to deliver impactful results that support business growth objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities Campaign Execution & Optimization:

  • Oversee the execution of performance marketing campaigns across SEO, SEM, Social Media, and Email Marketing.
  • Collaborate with each channel manager to ensure that campaigns are aligned with business objectives and integrated seamlessly.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize performance across all campaigns to maximize ROI, conversions, and customer engagement.

 

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Manage and provide leadership to the SEO, SEM, Social Media, and Email/CRM Marketing Managers, ensuring they are meeting performance goals and maintaining high standards.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, encouraging innovation and data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to direct reports to enhance their skills and career growth.

Strategy Alignment & Integration:

  • Work closely with the VP of Digital Marketing and other stakeholders to ensure that digital marketing strategies align with broader business goals.
  • Ensure cross-channel integration, ensuring that all campaigns complement one another for maximum impact.
  • Lead the development and execution of new strategies to improve campaign performance and leverage emerging digital trends.

Performance Reporting & Analytics:

  • Oversee the tracking, analysis, and reporting of campaign performance and KPIs.
  • Use data to inform decision-making and continuous optimization of campaigns.
  • Ensure all teams are aligned on reporting metrics and continuously improve data tracking and reporting capabilities.

Budget Management:

  • Collaborate with the VP of Digital Marketing to manage performance marketing budgets effectively.
  • Ensure that resources are allocated efficiently across channels, ensuring maximum impact while staying within budgetary constraints.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Creative, Analytics, and Product, to ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment across departments.
  • Present regular updates to senior leadership, including the VP of Digital Marketing, on performance, challenges, and successes.

Minimum Qualifications Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  •  7+ years of experience in performance marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of executing and optimizing SEO, SEM, Social Media, and Email Marketing campaigns.
  •  Experience managing a team of marketing professionals across multiple channels.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and the ability to integrate strategies across them.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.

Tools & Technologies:

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Mailchimp, and other email marketing and social media tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and other performance optimization techniques.
