Description

The Vice President of Integrated Marketing and Demand Generation at Emory Healthcare will be responsible for leading the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies designed to drive patient acquisition, retention, and engagement across all service lines.

 

This role is critical in creating and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns that align with Emory Healthcare's brand, mission, and business objectives. The VP will lead a team that drives demand generation efforts, leveraging data-driven insights, personalized marketing tactics, and innovative strategies to fuel growth across both consumer and B2B segments.

 

This position requires a strategic and results-oriented leader with a deep understanding of the healthcare marketing landscape, digital marketing, and performance measurement.

 

Integrated Marketing Strategy Development:

1. Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive, data-driven integrated marketing strategies that support Emory Healthcare's overall goals, including patient acquisition, retention, and brand awareness.

2. Ensure a cohesive and consistent brand message across all marketing channels (digital, print, social, experiential, etc.) to create a unified, patient-centric experience

3. Collaborate with clinical leadership, service line managers, and other stakeholders to align marketing efforts with business objectives and ensure relevance to target audiences.

 

Demand Generation Leadership:

1. Drive demand generation strategies to generate qualified leads, increase patient appointments, and fuel long-term growth across Emory Healthcare's service lines

2. Implement marketing automation tools and workflows to nurture leads through the entire funnel, from awareness to conversion and retention

3. Develop targeted campaigns focused on new patient acquisition, ongoing patient engagement, and referral generation, leveraging digital channels such as paid search, display, SEO, email, and social media

 

Cross-Channel Campaign Management:

1. Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns to increase awareness and drive patient actions, ensuring that campaigns are seamlessly integrated across digital, offline, and experiential touchpoints

2. Oversee the creation of content, creative assets, and messaging that resonates with various patient segments, including prospective patients, existing patients, and caregivers

3. Optimize campaigns for performance across paid, earned, and owned media channels to maximize return on investment (ROI) and impact

 

Data-Driven Marketing and Analytics:

1. Use data analytics and performance metrics to inform decision-making, optimize campaigns, and ensure alignment with business objectives

2. Develop reporting frameworks to measure and track the effectiveness of integrated marketing and demand generation efforts, providing regular updates and insights to senior leadership

3. Leverage segmentation, personalization, and automation techniques to enhance targeting and improve marketing ROI

 

Team Leadership and Development:

1. Lead and mentor a diverse team of marketing professionals, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and support to execute integrated marketing and demand generation initiatives effectively

2. Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and results-driven performance within the marketing team

3. Set clear goals and expectations for the team, guiding them through continuous learning and professional development opportunities

 

Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders:

1. Work closely with the executive leadership team, clinical units, and other departments to ensure marketing strategies align with Emory Healthcare's strategic initiatives

2. Collaborate with the digital, content, and design teams to ensure all marketing assets are aligned with brand standards and patient engagement goals

3. Engage with IT, data analytics, and operations teams to leverage the latest technologies and insights for improved patient acquisition and retention efforts

 

Market Research and Competitor Insights:

1. Lead market research initiatives to understand patient needs, behaviors, and market trends in the healthcare industry

2. Analyze competitor marketing strategies and market conditions to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth

3. Stay current with healthcare marketing trends, digital advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure Emory Healthcare remains a leader in patient engagement

 

Budget and Resource Management:

1. Manage the marketing budget for integrated marketing and demand generation activities, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently across high-impact campaigns

2. Ensure all campaigns are executed on time and within budget while maximizing efficiency and performance

3. Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners as needed to support campaign execution

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field Experience 
  • 10+ years of experience in integrated marketing, demand generation, or digital marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the healthcare or healthcare services sector

Skills:

  • Proven track record of developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive measurable results in patient acquisition and retention
  • Expertise in demand generation, lead nurturing, and the use of marketing automation tools to optimize campaign effectiveness and improve ROI
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including patient behavior, healthcare regulations, and the unique challenges and opportunities in healthcare marketing
  • Demonstrated experience in digital marketing (SEO, SEM, paid search, content marketing, social media, etc.), along with a strong command of analytics tools and platforms to drive performance
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence senior stakeholders
  • Data-driven decision-maker with a strong analytical mindset and experience in tracking and measuring campaign performance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
