Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Duties include ensuring that PeopleSoft-HR and third-party integrated systems support departmental objectives and information management needs.
  • This role analyzes business processes, procedures and functions, organizational structures, data collection methods and workflow to determine areas of improvement in processes and system functionality.
  • Project responsibilities include developing functional requirements and specifications for enhancements and system modifications for business owners.
  • Responsible for the design, configuration, development, testing and implementation of approved applications.
  • Designs, configures, develops, tests and implements applications or enhancements to existing applications as well as integrations with 3rd party vendors by coordinating efforts.
  • Analyzes business processes, procedures, organizational structures, data collection methods, workflow and audit requirements to determine areas of improvement in processes and system functionality.
  • Develops and maintains business partner relationships and level sets expectations related to project constraints.
  • Coordinates testing of regular system updates and corrects functional problems and deficiencies.
  • Troubleshoots systems issues.
  • Creates reports on employee related data such as personal information, professional experience, performance management, and compensation. using tools such as PeopleSoft Query, Oracle BI Publisher, SQL, Access and Excel.
  • Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs under the direction of experience HR applications architect.
  • Must effectively communicates with stakeholders, taking an analytical approach to projects by asking the right questions to understanding the task at hand, and thoroughly defining all requirements.
  • Exhibits strong critical thinking skills to be able to adapt to complex issues and working on multiple projects.
  • Problem solving skills to support creative solution development.
  • Exhibits competencies required for end-to-end system support including business analysis, data analysis, production support, IT project management and/or project management support.
  • Works effectively with others to achieve a high level of business understanding and systems integration.
  • Expected to have solution creativity and latitude.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree preferably in computer science, information management or related field. 8 Years of experience in HR application/system administration.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of Peoplesoft HR application in a system administrator or analyst capacity; Work experience in Peoplesoft Integration with any of the Human Resource related applications like iCIMS, UKG/Kronos, Enterprise Health is preferred. Intermediate knowledge of building reports using tools such as PeopleSoft Query, Oracle BI Publisher, SQL, Access, and Excel.
