Description

 The Director, Decision Support and Reporting plays a critical role in facilitating data-driven decision-making within the organization. This position is responsible for the development and management of data analytics, reporting and decision support tools to support the strategic goals and operations of the organization.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership, including executives and department heads, to identify strategic goals and challenges.
  • Utilize data analysis to inform decision-making processes, support long-term planning, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate the financial and operational impact of proposed initiatives.
  • Lead the design and maintenance of reporting systems, dashboards, and business intelligence tools to provide timely and relevant information to various stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and regulatory bodies.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data quality, reporting accuracy, and decision support system effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze healthcare data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights that can improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
  • Support the development and implementation of a data strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the department, focusing on enhancing data-driven decision-making processes.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors required; Masters preferred.
  • 7 years in data analytics, reporting and decision support; 2+ years in healthcare.
  • 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • A combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills and knowledge may be considered.
