We're seeking an Instructional Designer to work with subject matter experts to design, develop and deploy e-learning courseware content for self-paced learning modules delivered electronically.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans, organizes, and develops training curricula, materials, and programs to meet specific training needs.
Analyzes learning needs and partners with subject matter experts to provide input for course content.
Plans and coordinates skill assessments and training. Works with management to ensure course materials are current and relevant to training needs.
May facilitate specific onboarding and training activities.
Tracks and analyzes training programs by examining learner's satisfaction levels, proficiency testing, and job performance.
Designs computer-based training as well as materials for instructor led courses.
Consults and partners with appropriate subject matter experts to obtain content for online and instructor led courses.
Works with the business content experts to convert local content into training material to include printed/online role-based training manuals, job aids, policies and procedures, workflows, and supporting presentations for instructor led training.
Maintains a centralized repository of training material and an online library of training material by managing updates/changes from content experts to ensure all material available is up to date.
Ensures appropriate training materials are accessible to staff.
Develops customized training programs for employees, as necessary.
Enters data into the Emory learning management system and tracks and monitors training participation and assessments via reporting.
Performs related responsibilities as required.
