Description

The role is responsible for leading and executing high-priority initiatives that enhance quality operational efficiency, stakeholder engagement, and strategic alignment across the organization.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience managing cross-function projects, developing effective communication strategies, and driving organizational changes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

 

Primary duties and responsibilities:

 

1. Project Management:

  • Lead and oversee special projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities 
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and performance metrics to track progress and ensure timely delivery
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, facilitating collaboration between departments to achieve project objectives
  • Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure project success within scope, time, and budget constraints.

2. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans for special projects, ensuring clear messaging and engagement across internal and external stakeholders 
  • Act as liaison between leadership, clinical teams, administrative staff, and external partners to facilitate project success
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Organize and lead meetings, workshops, and training sessions to ensure alignment and adoption of new initiatives

3. Strategic & Operational Support 

  • Conduct research and data analysis to support decision-making and project development
  • Monitor healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to inform project strategies.

 

Additional Duties As Assigned Travel: Less than 10% of the time may be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Education 

  • Bachelor's in healthcare administration, business, communications, public health, or a related field.

Experience 

  • 5+ years of experience in project management and communication within a healthcare setting.
    • Preferred Qualifications Education 
  • Master's Degree in healthcare administration, business, communications, public health, or a related field.
  • Certification Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credential is a plus.

Knowledge, skills, and ability requirements: 

  • Experience in managing large-scale projects, preferably in a hospital, health system, or managed care organization.
