Description

The Vice President Specialized Patient Services oversees Emory Healthcare's service offerings of Executive Health, Access Emory, Concierge Medicine and Emory Navigator. This role will be the clinical administrative partner to two physician leaders one in Primary Care and one in Specialty Care - providing overall operational, strategic and financial leadership of these center programs within Emory Healthcare. This newly formed center currently encompasses the Executive Health and Access Emory programs and will house the new special constituent programs of Concierge Medicine and Emory Navigator. This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Physician Services with and has direct accountability to the Senior Vice President of Access within the Physician Division of Emory Healthcare. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and growing the Specialized Patient Services Center 
  • Implementing new service offerings
  • Entrepreneurial leader to launch, drive growth and oversee clinical operations
  • Partner with development teams and be responsible for executing the highest level of service to these patient populations
  • Successfully recruit and retain both physicians and staff to ensure program operations
  • Engage with high profile constituencies and be able to successfully navigate with ease working with these teams and collaborating across large, complex organizations
  • Develop long-term and short term strategic goals and objectives to ensure that this center operates effectively
  • Plan and develop comprehensive Emory Healthcare budgets and direct overall center operations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in business, finance, administration or related field with seven (7) years of progressively responsible professional experience including previous experience in a healthcare environment
  • Other service industry and development/fundraising experience is highly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong interpersonal skills are required
  • He/she must bring exceptional integrity, intelligence, maturity and successful experience navigating complex organizational settings
  • He/she must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, make sound judgments, handle confidential information and be a creative, energetic problem solver.
