The Vice President of Operations is an innovative, progress-driven leader, who collaborates with the operating unit’s executive team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of assigned hospital. This includes management of the profit and loss statement for the hospital's services, as well as the related resources associated with the hospital operation. In this capacity, VP of Operations, in collaboration with the operating unit executive team, carries responsibility for integrating the strategic plan of the organization with the operations. They participate in short- and long-term strategic planning for the operating unit and actively promote the mission of Emory Healthcare by assuring the achievement of overall quality, service, financial, and performance improvement outcomes.
