Description

  • Works under the direction of the Employee Health Director following EHC Employee Health policies and procedures.
  • Provides leadership with day-to-day unit operations and serve as an experienced clinical resource for nursing and administrative staff working in the employee health office.
  • Formulates and implements Employee Health policies.
  • Ensures that Employee Health Staff understands policies and regulations relative to organizational and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Acts as a liaison in interdepartmental and intradepartmental activities.
  • Oversees day to day scheduling of Employee Health nurses for the operations of multiple Employee Health locations.
  • Develop, Critique, Administer and Analyze various programs for the Employee Health offices as needed to support and improve customer service experiences.
  • Demonstrates expertise and leadership in the role components of Manager, Teacher, practitioner and Researcher with emphasis on mastery of management skills.
  • Strives to promote safety and protection of patients and employees through effective assessment and surveillance of Emory Healthcare (EHC) employees.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • All nurses employed in roles requiring an unencumbered nursing license must have a valid, active license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Certification in Occupational Health preferred.
  • Ten (10) years experience in nursing field, of which two years must be in occupational health.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
