Description

  • The VP, Operations manages and directs the administrative and support functions of the hospital, formulating the work in accordance with departmental policies; assists in preparing the facility budget and exercising expenditure control by analyzing expenditures
  • Promotes the enforcement of the hospital administrative policies and procedures that are in compliance with departmental policies and applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations and accreditation standards
  • Effectively provides overall management and supervisory responsibility of assigned departments within the hospital organization
  • Ensures the consistent and effective execution of key systems and processes that make effective use of organizational resources
  • Drives the business toward enhanced product or service quality
  • Creates a work environment in which employees are committed to their organization and feel pride and job ownership
  • Builds strategic alliances and partnerships within the organization to collaboratively execute business strategies
  • Creates an environment in which products and processes are designed to ensure customer satisfaction; effectively incorporates customer perspectives in all business activities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires 5 years progressive acute care management experience and refined managerial skills
  • Completion of a Master's program required
  • Emphasis on healthcare preferred
