6:30am - 5pm/ Full Time/ 40 Hours 

Salary range - $15.75-$23.93

 

We're seeking a Anesthesia Technician for, Emory EUOSH Hospital responsible for being a capable certified technician who cares about the quality of their work an ensuring the safety and care for all patients. 

This individual will:    

 

  • Responsible for set up of invasive monitors and supports sophisticated equipment in anesthetizing locations and other patient care areas.
  • Assists anesthesiology personnel with placement of invasive hemodynamic lines.
  • Follows established procedures for equipment inspection. Tests equipment to ensure that it remains in proper operating condition.
  • Stocks supplies and returns items to departmental storeroom upon receipt.
  • Interacts positively with co-workers to ensure the flow of accurate and timely information between departments. Responds to emergency service requests made after regular working hours on a rotating basis. Assists in transporting post-operative patients to the Intensive Care Unit.
  • Follows sterile technique principles and other infection control policies and standards to maintain a healthy work environment. Takes required precautions in keeping with JCAHO, organizational and other safety guidelines when working with electrical equipment.
  • Equipment Checks: Responsibility Description: Performs daily apparatus equipment checks.                                                   

   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred and two (2) years of related healthcare experience as an Anesthesia Technician or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
