Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This position supports and coordinates Emory Healthcare revenue cycle functions that include financial clearance, charge capture, billing, coding, follow-up, denial management, and customer service aligning them with best-in-class performance metrics in specific categories of revenue cycle (productivity, compliance, accuracy, effectiveness, and efficiency)
  • Assists in identifying, designing and developing and supporting delivery of non-foundational Emory specific training, readiness and change management solutions being delivered by Super User Leads and Epic Trainers
  • Learns new functionality/enhancements and consults with application coordinators, application managers, any applicable 3rd party application vendors, the training managers, and super user leads to design, develop and support the delivery of training, readiness program and change management solution(s) for the roles in their application(s)
  • Partners with Operations, Super User Leads, Informatics and IS on the workflow and training implications of system releases
  • Proactively identifies ongoing training needs for their applications/training tracks. Maintains expertise in both Epic foundation workflows as well as Emory specific workflows related to the application(s) they support
  • Assists in developing training, readiness and change management strategies to ensure that systems projects meet business objectives and requirements
  • Rounds in operational areas to analyze how Healthcare IT systems are being applied and utilized in their work areas
  • Recommends improvement projects based on a root cause analysis when their area is having a problem
  • Provides input into departmental goals and objectives
  • Attends meetings of professional, civic and service organizations
  • Participates in workflow, integration and End User Acceptance testing
  • Performs other related duties as required


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors preferred
  • Two years of experience in designing, developing and implementing training, readiness and change management solutions as it relates to teammates' adoption and effective use of healthcare IT and EMR
  • Or three years relevant experience
  • Combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree
