Description

  • This job contributes to Starbucks success by assisting the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts.
  • This job deploys partners and delegates tasks so that partners can create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for our customers.
  • The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

 

        RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and specialty beverages.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils and equipment. Cleaning service and seating areas.
  • Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers.
  • Servicing customers and taking orders.
  • Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies.
  • Receiving and processing customer payments.

 



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Additional experience in food service, hospitality or customer service preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in customer service, critical thinking, problem solving and written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to make sound judgments while quickly processing information.
  • Proficient computer and web-based software skills including the ability to adapt to regular changes in software programs and processes.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and communicate in English.
  • Ability to follow and give oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate with patients, patient family members, hospital personnel and co-workers.
