JOB DESCRIPTION: Corporate Director for Business Development and Relationship

 

 

Overview:

- Drives strategic growth for Emory Healthcare and the Emory Healthcare Network, including the Emory Healthcare Primary Care Service Line.
- Fosters key corporate partnerships and enhances business relationships.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Builds, cultivates, and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders, including employers, payers, benefit consulting companies, insurance brokers, government agencies, and other relevant entities.
- Develops and executes a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with organizational goals to drive revenue growth.
- Identifies and pursues new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations within the corporate sector.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for external partners, fostering positive and long-lasting relationships.
- Leads the development of compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients and partners focusing on on-site clinics, narrow network products, and specialized clinical products.
- Fulfills requests for proposals (RFPs) from potential partners and clients.
- Conducts webinars and presentations to raise the profile of the Emory Healthcare Network (EHN).
- Performs market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities.
- Collaborates with clinical, operations, and finance teams to tailor solutions to meet the specific health and wellness needs of corporate populations.
- Works closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure the successful implementation of offerings, maintaining seamless integration and high-quality healthcare services.
- Partners with Contracting and Provider Services to review, finalize, and manage contracts effectively, identifying opportunities for upselling or expansion.
- Contributes to the development of marketing and branding initiatives to enhance the visibility and reputation of EHN.
- Attends and presents at employer, insurance, and employer benefit conferences.
- Manages employee performance and human resources-related issues, sets performance goals, and determines appropriate performance improvement measures.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or related field. MBA or MHA preferred.
- Seven years of experience in corporate business development, relationship management, sales, or related roles.
- Proven success in establishing strategic partnerships.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of healthcare trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to client locations for business development activities, as needed.
