Description

 

  • Opens and closes the store following department procedures.
  • Counts cash register at beginning and end of day, completes cash handling reports and bank deposits.
  • Processes and handles payments for merchandise via Point Of Sale Cash Register.
  • Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering the telephone, taking phone orders, giving directions, handling complaints and requests and assisting the customer with the appropriate selection of merchandise.
  • Maintains terminal and work area by dusting, sweeping and light cleaning.
  • Stocks, organizes, and displays merchandise per managers direction.
  • Accurately completes required receiving paperwork as needed. Performs related responsibilities as required.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of prior retail sales experience, including using a POS cash register, opening and closing stores, making end of day deposits, merchandising product and following a planogram/floor layout.
  • Must be able to stand for 4-6 hours consecutively, lift up to 30 lbs of product, bend, stoop, reach and grasp.
  • Must be able to work a flexible shift, including days, nights and weekends.
  • Must be comfortable working independently with limited supervision and making decisions based on store policies and procedures.
